| TERO
stands for Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance.
The purpose of TERO is to provide employment &
training opportunities for Native Americans and
their families and to provide business & economic
opportunities for businesses owned by Native Americans.
Under TERO guidelines, all employers, businesses,
contractors and subcontractors operating within
tribal jurisdiction are required to provide Indian
preference in employment, training, contracting,
and sub-contracting. |
